The laboratory supports exploration programs, ore evaluation, metallurgical investigations and mineral-processing operations.

The laboratory uses controlled sample preparation, wet-chemistry techniques and Atomic Absorption Spectrometry (AAS) for quantitative elemental determination. Sample management extends from receipt through preparation, analysis, quality control and final reporting.
